Raw Wednesday Meal Pack!
For this week’s Raw Wednesday feature, I thought I’d show you how I usually go about prepping some of my meals for a full day of raw eating. I work full time, so I do everything the night before; this is where making simple meals comes in handy, that way you’re not spending too much time putting them together. This doesn’t include dinner, just breakfast, lunch, and a snack or two.
For breakfast I usually make a mixed fruit bowl with soaked, raw nuts (in this case, cashews). That way I get a healthy start to my morning and the nuts keep me fuller for longer. I made a delicious salad for lunch with fresh spinach, radishes, cherry tomatoes, sugar snap peas, and raw chickpea hummus. For dressing I usually just squeeze lemon over the entire salad.
When you plan ahead of time it can make your life so much easier, and it won’t be hard to eat healthy! You can make meals like this for school and work, and being that they’re raw you won’t even need a microwave! ;)
