potna asked: Okay so tonight i bought gluten free, dairy free vegan pizza dough because tomorrow i'm going to make my own pizza and like it says vegan and everything on it but i read the ingredients and it says whole eggs. i'm so confused... should i still eat it or no...

Sometimes labels will say dairy-free and gluten-free, but still contain other ingredients. One example is Galaxy Foods Dairy-free cheese substitute, it still has casein in it, therefore it is not vegan. Unless the label clearly states that it is vegan, you always have to pay attention to the ingredient list.

If it says, “whole eggs” on the ingredients, it is obviously not vegan and I would not eat it. Maybe you can make something for a friend, instead, so that it doesn’t go to waste. It would be a good idea to email the company whose product it is about the discrepancy.
